Payless is one of the world's up and coming rental car
agencies. Payless is an international car firm with a strong
customer service focus.
Like it's rental brethren, it started small. The company was
founded by Les Netterstron in Spokane, Washington in 1971. It
grew quickly, and in just eleven years, Payless grew to 100 rental
offices.
After growing organically, the company decided to grow faster by
acquisition. In 1987, Payless acquired the U.S. portion of
Canada's Holiday Rent A Car. It's because of the size of the
new Payless that a new CRS or computer automated central reservation
system is built.
Today, through their partnerships with Sixt Rent A Car and Network
Car and Truck Rental, Payless Car Rental has a combined presence in
over 1,500 locations worldwide.
The www.PaylessCarRental.com website is a fairly pedestrian affair,
but it is able to do two things well. One, it brands the experience
well with the tri-color logo. And two, it allows customers all
over the world to book Payless rental cars...and isn't that the
point, after all?
