Chicago?s Essex Inn is an intimate and informal hotel located in the heart of Downtown on Michigan Avenue. We are across the street from Grant Park and just steps away from the famous Museum Campus of Chicago. Our 254 moderately appointed guest room?s feature cable TV, iron and ironing boards, voicemail, automated wake-up calls, and data ports. Hotel features include our brand new indoor pool, state-of-the art fitness center, and sauna all housed under a retractable glass roof. You can also enjoy our beautifully landscaped rooftop garden and deck with views of Grant Park and Michigan Avenue on a warm day. Guests can also take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service to the Magnificent Miles shopping area that runs daily and our new business center located in our lobby. For guests that drive in, we do offer discounted valet parking in our attached garage that include in and out privileges. We also offer a full service restaurant, the Savoy Bar and Gill serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. UNDER CONSTRUCTION - The Essex Inn will be making some improvements from December 19th through March 1st. Our rooftop pool and parking garage will be out of service during this time. Valet parking will still be offered although off-site near the hotel and unlimited in and out privileges will be suspended.
