Property Description
Hotel Triton was built in 1927 and re-opened by Bill Kimpton in 1991. The 140 room Hotel Triton is one of San Francisco's most distinctive hotels. The Triton represents the talents of several of San Francisco's finest artists. Together they worked to create a hotel in which classic design elements were altered to create a whimsically sophisticated hotel atmosphere. The Triton has a sense of high style and cutting edge design, but not at the sacrifice of comfort. Colors and designs are thoughtfully planned to make travelers feel at home at the Triton. The Triton offers many special services and amenities. Wine and beer are served every night in the lobby as well as coffee and tea in the mornings. Soundproof windows, individual heat and air control ensures guest comfort. Located just across the street from the Dragon Gates of China Town on Grant Street, Hotel Triton is within walking distance of many of San Francisco's destinations.
